Behold, a perfectly spec'd Cervelo Caledonia-5. We call this bike used, but it's in near perfect condition. I found one tiny scratch on the rear derailleur and an even smaller one on the shifter, that's it. I like the Caledonia for a lot of my bigger rides. The more upright posture leaves me fresher for hours and hours in the saddle, which is good, because I want to be able to get back on the bike the next day. But, the bike still feels incredibly high performance, especially Cervelo's higher end "5" frame. This build is everything most riders need. Shimano Ultegra Di2 feels amazing and saves you tons of cash over Dura-Ace and the Reserve Carbon wheels ride really well. If you're looking for an amazing, versatile road bike, you ride a 51cm, and this thing is still available, you should seriously consider it.

In my opinion, no need for carbon for a bike like this. It's made for getting as rowdy as possible and I don't want to be concerned with the frame. If you haven't tried 29" wheels on a DH bike, yet, you should. The bigger wheels make this bike fly, but Scott's still delivered a bike that's nimble and easy to navigate sketchy downhill rock gardens.
The more I started thinking about why this was one of my Staff Picks, the more I convinced myself that this bike deserves a place in my fleet of bikes, so I decided to make it mine. If another Scott Gambler rolls through TPC in your size, you should grab it!

I've never owned a BMC, but something tells me I will relatively soon. They have a design style that makes them uniquely stand out while also being timeless. Taking this BMC Kaius gravel bike for a test ride around the building first impressions are that it's dang FAST. A serious contender in the category of gravel bikes with heavy road bike DNA designed to set the pace. I use my gravel bike for both road and gravel, so this category is typically what I'm after.
I also love the all-white with just a splash of color.

Week of July 13th:

This Colnago Prestige is insane. A top end cyclocross bike that inspires just by looking at it. Once you throw a leg over the top tube, it's game on. This Prestige is built pretty tip-top. The 2x crankset and slick center tread tire choice make it seem like it'd make for a fun and responsive road bike as well.

Coolest commuter e-bike I've ever seen. It looks like a traditional bike with no big motor or battery on the frame, doesn't weigh much more than a normal commuter bike and aesthetically just unique and cool. Love the color matched fenders.

It's a high-performance road bike dressed up with Campagnolo components through-out, including the wheels. If you've never ridden a full Campy bike before, it takes a moment to get used to, but you quickly adjust and appreciate the craftsmanship. It makes a lot of sense paired with this BMC Teammachine. It's obvious there's a lot of passion in the engineering of these bikes, which delivers a ride that's high performance, stable, and comfortable. Highly recommend adding a BMC to your fleet (bonus if it's spec'd with Campy).
