A brand bred from the collaboration of world class rider Juli Furtado and Santa Cruz bikes, Juliana was the original brand making bikes specifically for women.
Juliana's lineup of bikes is small and intentional. In their catalog you won't find models that stray from their passion for dirt. Even the gravel bike they made for 4 years had plenty of off-road, rowdy DNA coursing through it.
Currently Juliana makes just 4 models:
Wilder Trail - Downcountry
Joplin - All-Trail (favoring pedal efficiency)
Furtado - All-Trail (favoring playful handling)
Roubion - Enduro / Downhill
Below is a more detailed breakdown of Juliana's current 2025 lineup plus the Juliana Quincy gravel bikes, which we wish was still made. We get the Quincy in frequently enough that it earned itself a spot in the guide.
Juliana Wilder Trail

Frame material: Carbon C / Carbon CC
Wheel size: 29”
Travel: 120mm front / 115mm rear
Comparable Santa Cruz: Blur TR
Who it's for: Cross-country racers. Climbing- and endurance-focused riders who want the extra compliance of rear suspension.
The Wilder was recently revamped, making it even more race-oriented. The 1,933-gram CC-level frame is the lightest full-suspension frame Juliana has ever made, thanks to a new flex stay suspension design that does away with the brand's typical VPP layout. With fewer pivots and linkages, this is an efficient, stripped down, racing machine. The Wilder comes standard with a dual lockout remote for racers who need to quickly firm up their suspension for hard pedaling efforts. Part of the new school of XC bikes, the Wilder has been developed with a slacker head tube and longer reach to match current trends.

Juliana Joplin

Frame material: Carbon C / Carbon CC
Wheel size: 29”
Travel: 130mm front / 120mm rear
Comparable Santa Cruz: Tallboy
Who it's for: Riders looking for a versatile trail bike that pedals efficiently on climbs and long rides, but has the travel and geometry to outperform XC race bikes on descents and technical trails.
The Joplin is a bike that muddles the line between XC and trail. The latest version of the Joplin has 120mm of rear suspension that provides just enough extra travel to take to edge off of rougher trails. Prior generations of the Joplin have an upper-link-mounted shock with 110mm of rear travel and a 120mm fork. The most recent generation also comes with Juliana's "Glovebox" downtube storage, so you can bring flat kits, snacks, packable jackets, or whatever else you can squeeze in the downtube.
Juliana designed the Joplin for those who want an efficient bike but aren’t hardcore XC racers. With extra forgiveness in the suspension and a slightly slacker front end, riders can attack technical trails just a bit more confidently. The Joplin fits very nicely into the do-it-all bike category, able to transition between XC riding and big climbs to harder descending that might overwhelm most short-travel bikes.
There's a large number of mountain bikers who don't prescribe to just one type of riding and for a number of reasons can't have a different bike for every use. Those types of riders appreciate the Joplin's impressive versatility and are the reason it continues to be one of the most popular mountain bikes on the market year after year.

Juliana Furtado

Frame material: Carbon C / Carbon CC
Wheel size: 29”
Travel: 140mm front / 130mm rear
Comparable Santa Cruz: 5010
Who it's for: Riders looking for a super playful and versatile trail bike. The Juliana Furtado is not a dedicated downhill bike and not a dedicated XC-racer. It's a bike for everyone in between, which honestly, is most of us.
The Furtado has big shoes to fill being the namesake of the founding rider of the brand, Juli Furtado. The latest version of the Furtado has 130mm of rear suspension that provides just enough extra travel to confidently take on techy lines, drops, or jumps. The most recent generation comes with Juliana's "Glovebox" downtube storage, so you can bring flat kits, snacks, packable jackets, or whatever else you can squeeze in the downtube.
Juliana designed the Furtado for those who want an efficient and playful bike. It's similar to the Joplin, but the smaller rear wheel and slight increase of suspension give it a much more playful attitude with a small reduction in pedal efficiency.

Juliana Roubion

Frame material: Carbon C / Carbon CC
Wheel size: 29"F/27.5"R MX
Travel: 160mm front / 150mm rear
Comparable Santa Cruz: Bronson
Who it's for: Enduro and downhill riders.
The Roubion is the most aggressive bike in Juliana's lineup. This bike is intended for riders seeking out steep, technical descents. Prefer a shuttle or chairlift to the top? The Roubion is for you. It has 150mm of rear suspension, 160mm up front and a rowdy MX wheelset. The smaller 27.5" rear wheel is playful and nimble while the 29" front wheel keeps the bike blazing forward with efficiency. A pairing aimed to keep you in party mode all the way to the end of the run.
The most recent generation comes with Juliana's "Glovebox" downtube storage, so you can bring flat kits, snacks, packable jackets, or whatever else you can squeeze in the downtube.

Juliana Quincy (Discontinued after 2023)

Frame material: Carbon CC
Wheel size: 700c
Travel: N/A
Comparable Santa Cruz: Stigmata
Who it's for: Gravel, cyclocross, and adventurous road riders.
We were bummed when Juliana quietly stopped production on the Quincy. Although you can still get the same bike with the Santa Cruz Stigmata, which is a fantastic gravel bike, the Quincy offered some truly stunning colorways and brought the Juliana brand to gravel and cyclocross racing around the world. Whether you use this bike for it's intended purpose, which is gravel, or you test its reflexes on the cyclocross course, or you push the gas pedal on the tarmac - the Quincy does it well. We think it's arguably one of the best bikes for the "quiver-killer" drop bar bike. A great option for riders who want one bike for all their drop-bar needs.
We get Juliana Quincy's at TPC, but the sell quick when we do. If you can't find one (because people tend to hold onto these), the Santa Cruz Stigmata is the same platform.
