Tallboy Size Chart
When considering the sizing for the Santa Cruz Tallboy, refer to the official Santa Cruz size guide, provided below. Santa Cruz Bicycles suggest sizing based on the rider's height. As general guidance, riders between 5'0" to 5'5" should opt for a Small frame, those between 5'5" to 5'10" should consider a Medium frame, riders from 5'10" to 6'1" might find a Large frame most suitable, and those over 6'1" up to 6'4" should lean towards the XL frame. Riders over 6'4" will likely find the XXL frame the best fit. These are accurate, though general guidelines.

Each person's body geometry may vary, that is why, in addition to height consideration, factors such as inseam, reach and riding preference (whether you prefer an aggressive over-the-front stance or a laid-back ride) might affect frame choice. Some riders prefer a smaller frame for agility and comfort, while others prefer a larger frame for stability at speed.
In our experience personal preference plays a significant role in choosing between XL and XXL for riders around 6'4" - 6'5". Adjustments like stem length and seat post height and adding handlebar risers can also influence the fit. Ultimately with the Santa Cruz it's best to stick with the guidelines, and try and demo one in person if possible. At TPC we offer a generous return and exchange policy should the need arise.
