Why We Love It
ALLIED Cycle Works is one of the very few U.S. made carbon frame manufacturers. From the point an idea pops into their engineers head to the finished product being shipped to you, it all happens in the cycling mecca of NorthWest Arkansas. The Echo seems to be the successor to ALLIED's ALFA ALLROAD. Targets those looking for a high performance road bike to take the lead at your Tuesday Night World Championship group rides, but turn off the main road on Wednesday and explore the road less traveled all on the same bike. While targeting a similar rider as the ALFA ALLROAD, the frame is completely new with flip chips in the fork and rear drop-out to manipulate geometry and ride style, an expanded tire clearance to clear up to 40mm tires, and a stealthy stem system that neatly tucks cables away from the wind for improved aerodynamics and stunning aesthetics.
