Why We Love It
Ibis is known for making incredible bikes. Their attention to detail and high quality allow them to standout in every discipline they make. The Exie, however, is an entirely new high standard. This frame is the first model Ibis designed and manufactured in California. With taking on this new project, they aimed to create a process that created less waste and was as environmentally friendly as possible while still achieving their rigorous quality standards. Part of this process involves a proprietary heat molding requiring low enough energy that it can be operated using solar power energy. The Exie is a modern day cross country weapon featuring 100mm of rear travel designed for 120mm up front. Size specific seat tube angles ensure a consistent ride throughout the size range. It also features DW-Link rear suspension kinematics that puts your pedal power efficiently to use, but opens up nicely when you want to crush the downhill confidently. Because this bike is made to go fast, chances are you might be working hard. Many full suspension bikes only have room for 1 bottle, some even zero. The Exie has spots for 2 bottle cages for every frame size, so stay hydrated.
