What parts and components were in demand? What pieces are people wearing? Let's dive into our best sellers and find out.

The Continental GP 5000 is probably the benchmark for high-performance road tires and it hasn’t budged from the top 5 all year. But now, the tubeless version has outsold the clincher version. Is tubeless finally taking over on the road? Time will tell.

March was the month of Shimano components. Leading the way with a second-place finish was the Ultegra/XT chain. With how hard chains were to find in stock during the pandemic parts shortage, maybe buyers are finally able to freshen up their drivetrains.

Once again, Shimano’s indomitable Ultegra road pedals are top sellers. Ever since it got marked down nearly $50, roadies have been scooping up the higher-end Ultegra pedal over many more affordable options. We restocked them this month and they haven't stopped flying off the shelves.

The top-level Shimano 11-speed chain is a strong seller too. It’s only $10 more than the Ultegra chain, which seems like a great deal to me!

I really think everyone short of high-level racers should be on an 11-34t cassette. Those sweet sweet climbing gears really make cycling uphill so much better.

Best-Selling Bike Accessories

2. Arundel Looney Bin Plastic Water Bottle Cage
3. Planet Bike Blinky 3 Tail Light
4. Radavist Fear Is The Mind Killer Stem Cap
5. Silca Hypalon EDC Strap With BOA Closure
[product-block handle="garmin-varia-rtl515-bike-radar-and-tail-light"/]
I don’t ride without my Varia radar anymore, and I’m glad more riders are picking them up! They detect cars approaching from behind to improve your situational awareness and help you ride defensively. The RTL515 version adds a bright tail light to increase your visibility out on the road.
[product-block handle="arundel-looney-bin-plastic-water-bottle-cage-black"/]
Are you tired of single size water bottle cages? What if you want to carry a different beverage? That's where the adjustable Looney Bin comes in. Perfect for everyone from commuters to eccentric mountain bikers. It even fits a bottle of wine!
[product-block handle="planet-bike-blinky-3-tail-light"/]
A $3 tail light? Yup. That’s why we sold so many.
[product-block handle="radavist-fear-is-the-mind-killer-stem-cap"/]
These top caps have John Watson’s favorite quote from Dune printed on them. “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
[product-block handle="silca-hypalon-edc-strap-with-boa-closure"/]
Sure, you could use velcro straps to attach tubes and spares to your bike. If you want to get classy, you could use Voile Straps. But if you want the most advanced strapping system possible, well you can count on the bike geeks at Silca to deliver. It has a BOA closure. Nothing else matters.

Best-Selling Bike Apparel
1. Cinelli Tread Bike Cap
2. Radavist Sillycybin Wool Socks
3. Troy Lee Designs Skyline Shorts
4. Supacaz SupaSox Rad Cobra
5. Radavist Jackal Camp Hat
[product-block handle="cinelli-pace-bike-cap-cinelli-tread"/]
This is my favorite cycling cap. I remember 10 years ago seeing it on half the heads at my local alleycat race. It keeps your head warm, wicks sweat so it stays dry, and blocks a bit of sun. Plus it has classic good looks. What else do you need from a cycling cap?
[product-block handle="radavist-sillycybin-wool-socks-obsidian-black"/]
Can you ever have enough socks? I love to accent my kits with creative sock designs, and the trippy Radavist Sillycybin design is certainly a great conversation starter.
[product-block handle="troy-lee-designs-skyline-air-shorts-shell"/]
Are you ready for the mountain bike season? The trails are starting to dry up so pick up some shorts because hot summer days will be here before you know it!
[product-block handle="supacaz-supasox-rad-cobra"/]
Supacaz is better known for its cushy bar tape, but they make darn good socks too. They fit snugly and feel super thin, which makes them excellent in hot conditions.
[product-block handle="radavist-jackal-camp-hat"/]
These Radavist hats are made in the USA by our friends at LAND. They feature the iconic Jackal embroidery and feel super soft. Wear it camping, hiking, to formal business meetings, or to your mom’s wedding. It does it all.
