How long have you worked with mechanical things?
Forever! I take apart everything. If there were screws on it, it was coming apart.
What are your specialties?
Hydraulics. I focus on making sure the hydraulic brakes are safe and working well.

What do you enjoy about being a bike tech?
Being able to repair bikes. I enjoy taking a bike that is not functioning and restoring it up to a high functioning standard.

Biking from Seaside Oregon to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
What’s your post ride treat?
After a double-century, I bought nasty ground beef and canned tomatoes at a convenient store and it was the most delicious thing I’ve eaten. When I’m starving, everything tastes great.
