What initially got you into bikes?
Watching the Tour De France with my parents when growing up. Perhaps it was the uniqueness and novelty of cycling that stood out to me versus traditional American sports.
Favorite bike memory?
The 2021 Tour of the Gila, my first stage race experience. Lessons were learned, fun was had, and the memories will be cherished for years to come.
What type of riding do you do?
Road
How many days a week are you currently riding?
As many as I reasonably can.
How many bikes are in your fleet currently? Have a favorite?
One, which also happens to be my favorite.
What bikes are on your current wish list?
A new Ventum NS1 (Dura Ace 12 speed Di2) would be sick.
Do you have a bike you let go of that you wish you’d kept?
No way, bikes aren’t sentimental to me. It’s all about the fun and memories from the road.

What’s your favorite thing about working at TPC?
The bikes & the people. Bikes are cool, but bikes + people are ice cold.
Do you prefer stock builds or putting together your own build from the frame up?
I prefer stock builds when manufacturers give options to customize major components (wheels, groupset, etc.). I still enjoy a frame-up build though.
If building from the frame up, what’s your favorite build you’ve done?
My current racing bike, a 2021 Supersix Evo Hi-Mod.

Carbon
Shimano or SRAM?
Shimano has my heart.
Are you a data geek?
Yes, all the data please.
Baggies or Spandex?
Spandex. Baggy cycling gear is terribly inefficient for a roadie.
Favorite post big ride meal?
Avery Brewing’s White Rascal belgian-style ale, and sometimes with a pizza.
Go-To during ride nutrition/snack?
CLIF Z-Bars for solid food, NEVERSECOND gels for…gels.
How do you take your coffee?
“I like my coffee to taste like coffee” - Paul Calandrella. I agree with him.
Favorite pizza toppings?
The controversial Bacon & Pineapple combo.
Would you rather watch the Tour De France or Red Bull Rampage?

Late morning rides are ideal.
