Since 2013, Pivot’s Mach 6 has been a fun MTB, no matter how hard you play. As a big-hit enduro bike, it has 27.5” wheels and DW-Link suspension set up with 155-160mm of travel for a bike that can roll over everything, combining the ability to descend with the facility to climb.
Its fourth iteration landed in 2021. The previous updates were in 2015 and 2017, with the shaping getting more sophisticated, the lines smoother, and the geometry trending longer and lower. Steeper seat angles, slacker head angle, and short chain-stays have increased the Mach 6's capability.

With the latest iteration, Pivot dropped their aluminum-framed version of the Mach 6. But from 2013-2020, a rougher, tougher option fabricated out of metal was available and easier on the wallet. Now in carbon only, Pivot uses hollow-core molding to achieve more precise shapes and greater strength. With its vertical shock orientation, Pivot improved standover clearance, increase shock access for Fox’s Live Valve system, and plenty of room for a water bottle.
