Argon 18 was established in Montreal in 1989 and has focused on top-tier racing. In 2006, three of Argon 18's triathletes won world championships on board their TT bikes. Not satisfied with their work, Argon 18 came up with the E-114 in 2008. Slicing through the air was the key focus of the E-114 with its bayonet fork, integrated cockpit, and a bladed seatpost.

By 2012 the E-114 was surpassed by the E-118. A faster, more comfortable, and integrated bike. The E-118 is Argon 18's premier time-trial offering and is still plenty fast for triathlon races. It can go toe-to-toe with any UCI-approved time trial bike and now features disc brakes. For those looking for an entry-level option, the E-117 eschews the integrated front end, making fit easier. If obliterating UCI constraints for maximum aero advantage is on the menu, the E-119 Tri+ Disc arrived in 2020. With this bike, they even integrated disc brakes.
