Performance with a Dose of Endurance

Why We Love It
If full on aero-race bikes were on one side of the spectrum and full on endurance on the other, the Wilier Triestina GTR Team would fall somewhere around 75% toward race and we kinda liked that about it. Everyone is looking for something different out of a bike and some riders want some damping from the harsh roads and a slightly less aggressive position, but aren't wanting to go fully on board with the endurance bike train. For those riders this is the bike. It still provides a responsive and snappy ride thanks to a stiff bottom bracket and head tube. It also maintains a respectably light weight at each build spec, which keeps it climbing well. In regards to the endurance aspect of this bike, Wilier took their Wilier Cento1 geometry and subtly lengthened the head tube. The thought behind this is that putting the length in the headtube to increase the height of the front end maintains a stiffer and more responsive ride than piling up spacers below the stem and we'd say it works, given the impressive aforementioned responsiveness from the headtube. Nice work, Wilier!
