How much does an SB160 weigh?
A Yeti SB160 frame with its carbon fiber construction weighs around 8.39lbs in a size medium. A stock build of an SB160 weighs around 34.5 lbs, depending on the size and configuration. In a top end build the SB160 Turq can get under 34lbs, which is quite impressive for a bike with this much travel. Our Take:
The Yeti SB160 is one of best Enduro bikes on the market. While MSRP is a little higher than most, it wins almost every time on weight when compared to similar travel enduro bikes and the proprietary Switch Infinity suspension is well worth the extra cost for those looking for an edge over the competition. The geometry of the SB160 puts you in a powerful position, giving you lots of pedal power when you need it. We also love that Yeti calls Golden, CO their home - just a few miles across the Front Range from TPC. It's hard not to have a little extra love for a fellow Colorado brand.
