The VPD 2.0 protector provides ample defense against injury thanks to the protective padding that is reinforced stretch material that warms to your shape, but hardens immediately on impact. The perforation in the padding still allows your knees and legs to breathe, which will be a huge help when you are climbing on a hot day. Perhaps even more importantly, the crash retention strap holds the pad solidly in place even on impact.
