Jamis Brings the Heat

Why We Love It
The Jamis Portal is a bit of a hidden gem. Once ridden, this 140/130mm (front/rear) travel 29er quickly jumps to the top of the list of all-mountain machines capable of checking many boxes for trail varieties its able to conquer, much in part to the impressively designed 3VO (3 Variable Optimized) linkage system. This linkage does a great job delivering on the promise of pedaling well with very minimal pedal bob, braking well regardless of what's happening with the suspension and opening up to take the big hits when they arrive. Something almost all full suspension bikes promise, but few deliver.
