Ready For The Task

Why We Love It
In the gravel world, there are two ends of the design spectrum. Some brands have chosen to focus on bikes built for adventure with longer wheelbases, quite upright geometry, massive tire clearance and mounts galore for loading up all your needed gear for multiple days in the saddle. On the other side of the spectrum is the race focused models, which often start with a race-focused road bike and tweak the character a bit to make it handle more confident and take bigger tires. Both are rad for their intended purposes. We feel the Kona Rove has found a cozy home for itself confidently in the middle. This durable and comfortable steel frame provides ultimate durability and a smooth ride. Plenty of mounts ensure you're able to bring all your necessary belongings. While the geometry is far from the race-focused bikes in gravel, it puts you in a much more efficient feeling position than the full-fledged adventure rigs. Gravel bikes evolved as a mix of categories to begin with, so we feel the Rove is a great example of a confident gravel bike capable of tackling many tasks whether that be some bikepacking trips, a few gravel races or an all-weather commuting master this bike is ready for the task.
