Why We Love It
Ridley has developed a pretty all-encompassing gravel lineup. Taking the Kanzo platform and delivering a version of it that meets every gravel enthusiasts take on the category. The Kanzo Fast is pretty self-explanatory. This version of the Kanzo caters to the racing gravel grinder looking to constantly push fast speeds and be competitive. It borrows aero features and instant power transfer characteristics from the Noah Fast Disc and pairs it with Noah's knowledge of gravel demands. When many gravel races are well into the triple digits for mileage and average speeds are constantly being increased, aerodynamic advantages will bring massive gains. Tire clearance allows up to 700 x 42mm, which isn't the widest out there, but for the majority of gravel racing is plenty wide! To shave weight and help you decide which drivetrain combination you want to roll with, this frame is 1x only - so it'll make ditching that front derailleur an easy choice. Ridley's unique D-shaped steerer is part of a system they call the "F-steerer", which allows full internal routing of the front cables, further enhancing the Kanzo Fast's aerodynamics. With all these race feature call-outs, you may think Ridley forgot about comfort, of course not! In addition to the comfort provided by the winder tires, the seatstays are designed to damp gravel chatter without compromising power transfer. For those wanting every advantage at gravel start lines, the Kanzo Fast is hard to beat.
