Big Energy on All Types of Trails

Why We Love It
Just a short drive over the mountains from us is a relatively young, but thrilling bike brand called Revel Bikes. Revel got their start in 2016 and quickly became known for their high quality, carbon, full-suspension rigs ready to take on all types of trails and with their backyard being the Roaring Fork Valley, there was no shortage of testing and R&D on some of Colorado's best trails. The Revel Bikes Rascal is their offering for a bike that will bring the thrills on both fast and flowy double track as well as steep and technical descents. 130/140mm front/rear travel and 29er wheels pair nicely to keep the bike light and pedaling quick when needed, but provide enough travel and a slack enough front end to take on the big hits. Revel's incorporates the Canfield Balance Formula into their bikes, which allows suspension to do its job independently from the drivetrain, allowing all your pedaling energy to go into moving the bike forward and none be absorbed by pedal bob. It may not be as quick on the pedals as their Ranger, but it holds its own and sure as heck sends the downhills nicely!
