Why We Love It
The Intense Recluse is a perfect trail bike for the rider looking for the ""swiss army knife"" of trail bikes. The happy medium 140mm rear travel keeps things light and efficient enough to pedal well, but provides ample suspension for challenging, technical downhills. The 27.5"" wheels are easy to maneuver, playful over obstacles and accelerate quickly. Last, but certainly not least, the Recluse features a progressive geometry that pairs a steep seat tube (for pedaling efficiency) with a slack head tube (for downhill capability) and a longer reach and wheelbase that keeps the bike feeling stable and confident at high speeds. To sum it all up, if you're looking for a nimble, light and capable all-trail bike and you haven't put Intense on your list, we'd highly recommend adding it.
