Why We Love It
The Alight 24 is perfect for the kid wanting a speedy bike for getting to school or keeping up on family rides. It's lightweight thanks to its aluminum frame and features a 7-speed drivetrain adjusted by an easy to use twist grip shifter on the right side of the handlebar. We've all seen kids bikes tip over (often) and sometimes that common accident causes a bent or broken rear derailleur, which is pricey. Liv thought of that and installed a handy cage around the rear derailleur to help protect it should an unexpected tippage occur. Keep in mind, every kiddo is different, but Liv recommends this bike for riders between 4'3" - 4'11".
