For those familiar with the brand, the De Rosa Idol is an icon. The carbon frame is incredibly stiff for race-ready power transfer, especially at the bottom bracket. However, through clever tube shape design, De Rosa was able to integrate some rough road compliance - most noticeable when looking at the top tube and seat stays. Is this an endurance bike? Definitely not, but within the category of lightweight bikes bred for road racing, the dose of comfort is very welcomed. This bike makes for a great tool to summit mountain peaks, lead the peloton or just stand out at the local group ride with a stunning unique bike.
