By Bruce Lin

What We Ride: Justin England's Giordana Polaris

Name: Justin England

Position at TPC: Lead Buyer

What you ride: Lugged Steel Giordana Polaris with Dura Ace 7400 group.

What We Ride: Justin England's Giordana Polaris

Why you ride it: I put this bike together for the vintage Eroica ride out in California, but now it's my bike of choice on road rides. She handles smooth and steel is real!

Fun Facts: I actually started with the group on this build. We had a NOS 7400 group come through the shop a couple years ago and I bought it at the time knowing I wanted to build a bike around it. I've always thought 7400 was the best looking group of all time. Then I waited and the Giordana frame came through last fall. It was my size and I loved the lugs and color scheme.

  • I just bought one of these tonight for $200 in Atlanta. Full Campagnolo Croce d’ Aune and a Brooks Pro saddle. Even has the Delta-like brakes. Some light putting on the chrome stays. Otherwise , very little use. Billato built but I have no idea if Dario was involved! DAA
