Just like that, August is a wrap. They say time flies when you're having fun and boy have we been having fun. In August we gave away our second round of Bike Library Yeti ARC's, had a chance to attend the first weekend of Colorado High School League race in Frisco, we were able to make a considerable donation to the Colorado High School Cycling league to help grow youth cycling - thanks to you! And, we got hundreds of riders on new (to them) Certified Pre-Owned used bikes. Of course, that means we've had a ton of bikes move through The Pro's Closet warehouse and while every bike we sell is awesome, there are a few that happen to catch our eye and stop us in our tracks. Keep reading to see what our staff picked out in August.
Adam's Pick:

2023 ENVE MOG

Why:
The ENVE MOG is an incredibly high performance frame that feels fast and stable. Generally, MOG's are built with top-end components, but the prior owner chose a mid-range Shimano 105 di2 build - components that still feel great and perform well, while allowing the next rider to get into a really top-end up bike for less. My tip: buy this bike, ride the Shimano 105 'til it wears out, then upgrade to 2nd or top tier parts. You'll have a premium bike that gradually elevates with your riding skills.

2026 Trek Roscoe 8

Why:
I’m always a sucker for an aggressive hardtail, and this Trek Roscoe 8 is no exception. The tanwalls are pure vibe, the 150mm FOX Rhythm 36 up front means it can get properly rowdy, and the extra mounting options make it ready for a loaded adventure. Maybe one day I’ll point a bike like this down the Colorado Trail, once I convince myself that sounds fun.

2016 Independent Fabrication Custom Steel Club Racer

Why:
While walking around the warehouse, Aaron called me over to tell me about this sweet Independent Fabrication. He's a fan of niche frame manufacturers with high end spec.
Bobby's Pick:

2022 Santa Cruz Tallboy C R

Why:
First off, we need to introduce Bobby. He's an honorary Pro's Closet staff member. We were helping support the Colorado High School Cycling League race in Frisco CO this past weekend and along came Bobby. He'd visited our Thornton headquarters prior and become a big fan of TPC. He hung out at our tent for several hours helping apply temporary tattoo's to racers and preaching the gospel of The Pro's Closet to everyone who wanted to hear it. For so willingly volunteering his time and being our unofficial "employee of the day" we hooked Bobby up with some sweet TPC merch. Bobby is 11, but we're pretty certain when he's old enough, he'll be our next CEO. I asked Bobby if he could pick a bike from our site, which one would it be and he chose this killer Santa Cruz Tallboy for it's trail versatility (paraphrasing slightly).

2025 Trek Madone SLR 9 AXS Project One

Why:
There's very little about this bike I don't like. Frame is great, parts are great, paint is great. No misses (other than size).

2025 Otso Hoot Ti 90

By this, Kyle means a 65 degree heat tube on a hardtail is a great combo.
