Why We Love It
Virtually every performance oriented rider likes a light, dependable wheel set. And if you can get an aero profile while keeping the weight below 1400 grams - even better. The rims on the Shimano Dura-Ace WH-9000-C35 wheels have a 35mm profile which is perfect for riders leery of deep section rims but wanting an aero benefit. The lower rim weight also comes into play in booting acceleration and climbing performance. The WH-9000-C35 is 11-speed compatible. Other differences over the WH-7900 wheels include improved hub flanges that are 7mm wider for increased strength and a now 100% titanium freehub body for lower weight. Styling is a bit sharper with a new black anodized hub finish, black spokes and nipples and a glossier finish on the rim.
