The frame is crafted in 6069, an exotic super-alloy of aluminum which along with specific heat treatments and controlled shot peening*, enables us to produce tubes that when formed into our latest proprietary “Colorado Concept” design, are astoundingly light, responsive, forgiving, and 300% more durable than the industry standard selection. This exotic alloy and advanced processing technology was mastered in Taiwan, which is where the Serotta Duetti A9 is proudly produced in an immaculate state-of-the-art facility.
