Why We Love It
The RXC34 m.1 uses Ohlins' new XC-optimized OTX14 damper. This slim, lightweight damper is packed with technology. Extensive efforts have been made to develop a low-friction seal design. The new OTX14 damper is paired with an updated two-chamber air spring, featuring a large negative air chamber balanced with the damper’s characteristics in the three different ride modes – open, pedal, and lockout. This creates the initial movement required for superior traction while retaining best-in-class, predictable support when pushing hard. The air spring has a large negative air chamber for increased sensitivity when seated and climbing. This can be fine-tuned with spacers in the piston rod at one of their MTB service centers.
The RXC34 m.1 is available with or without a remote connection. This manual version offers 3 ride modes, rebound, and 10 clicks of low-speed compression in the open mode. As part of the Öhlins XC suspension system, the RXC34 m.1 boasts a rider-friendly system to adjust air spring progressiveness and stroke. And with Ohlins' race proven setting bank, you’ll be able to fine-tune the fork to your unique riding style and bike linkage.
