No one wants to crash, but more to the point, no one wants to carry around painful injuries. The POC 2.0 Elbow Guards provide big-time protection from everything from a minor slide out to a major miscalculation. These are all-around elbow pads that are 3D molded and comply to the 1621-1 motorcycle standard. Nevertheless, they are comfortable to wear since the VPD adapts to the shape of your body, but when subject to an impact, the material hardens immediately in order to take the brunt of the force. Perhaps even more importantly, the crash retention strap holds the pad solidly in place even on impact. One thing that POC makes clear on their website, though, is that these Elbow Guards run quite small, so if you are on the muscular side, you probably want to size up.
