Why We Love It
The Spank Spike 28 wheelset is built to be light and strong. Spank designed the 28 with Downhill in mind, yet they made them light enough to use on your trail bike as well. Thanks to their BeadNip sidewall, the 28 is easily converted to tubeless. The Spank Spikewheelset is constructed using Dynamal a specially formulated and dynamically aged 6-series alloy that features a higher tensile strength and yield than traditional statically aged alloys without the normal reductions in fatigue life.
