Why We Love It
Modern trail bikes are designed to tackle anything that can be thrown at them. The Reserve 30 is specially designed for trail riding and the abuse trail bikes dish out. They feature a 30mm width for use with 2.5 tires and a redesigned inner rim bed that takes the hassle out of seating new tires. To say the least, the Santa Cruz Reserve Carbon wheels are the strongest on the market. Features such as the thickness of the rim bead, asymmetrical spoke profile, and external spoke hole reinforcements make the wheels nearly indestructible. I only say nearly because apparently riding down 100 stairs with no tire can do the trick, but these conditions would never arise while riding a trail for obvious reasons.
