Lightweight decided they needed to top their already impressive Meilenstein. They do it here with the Meilenstein Obermayer Limited Edition. It’s even lighter and stronger than the already crazy light and strong Meilenstein. And it’s rare, with only 99 sets available worldwide. Here are the numbers that make our point. The front wheel weighs 420g. The rear 565g. 985g for a wheelset with 47.5mm deep, 20mm wide rims and only 16 front and 20 rear spokes. The magic comes from their ability to manipulate carbon-fiber. When riding it, you’ll only notice how much easier it is to spin up, but otherwise, it’s the same Meilenstein, an all-rounder of wheel that’s light enough for long and steep climbing.
