Let us introduce you to the Ibis 741 Carbon Wheels; wide, lightweight, tubeless, and best of all: modestly priced. The rims on the 741 Carbon 27.5" measure a gaping 41mm outside and 35mm inside. This is one of the widest carbon rims available before going to Fat Bike-specific 50mm rims! As the "new wide", the 741 Carbon wheels provide incredible support to the tire's sidewall, allowing lower pressures without the tire folding over or burping. This significantly increases stability and traction, enabling faster cornering and braking, and better traction in all conditions. Lower pressures also mean lower rolling resistance.
