As a traditional spoke wheel goes, the Black Eighty is the ultimate aerodynamic wheel where every second counts against timed events. The wheels are also quite strong since they are laced to a very deep 80 mm carbon rim that also spins on the co-developed Black Inc + CeramicSpeed hub sets that come standard with the silky smooth industry leading CeramicSpeed bearings. Most deep section wheels are notoriously difficult to control in strong crosswinds but unlike many other hyper aero wheels on the market, the Black Eighty wheels are not only fast but also one of the most stable in its class.
