The next generation of Assos' flagship WorldTour bib shorts, re-engineered with lower weight, increased cooling breathability, and more comfortable, body-wrapping compression from waist to raw-cut leg openings. The critical updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new textile and a new insert. The new textile, Type.911, allowed Assos to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let them eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. The new RS S11 insert’s top sheet is both softer against the body and more durable for washing, and it has an improved odor control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.

It also dries quickly, preventing weight gained through lingering moisture, and is equipped with UPF 50+ protection and odor control
  • Assos RacingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback and proven with WorldTour results. Compressive textiles, micro-adjusted shaping, and low-bulk, raw-cut hems and cuffs identify racingFit as the definitive speed series
  • Reduces wrinkling across the front of the hips during the pedal stroke to eliminate movement and friction between the textile and the rider
  • Provides body-enveloping, omnidirectional compression and stability with a waist construction that eliminates restriction in aggressive riding positions
  • The Chamois insert is attached at front and rear with floating sides and center, letting it move with your body rather than against it. New cut-outs on wings reduce volume and friction throughout the pedal stroke
