A Gravel Bike for the Racer or Adventurer

Why We Love It
Ari, formerly Fezzari, underwent a brand evolution in 2024 to align with their ethos of being in the moment. Which, we're certain is what inspired the design of the Shafer. This gravel bike looks like a lightweight racer at first glance, but as soon as you swing a leg over and start riding, you quickly discover that it's also just as happy on long adventures with no worry about pace. The dropped chainstays allow the rear triangle to stay shorter and more responsive, but still make room for a massive 29x2.25” (700x58c) tires! While some brands are starting to force your hand with 1x specific frame designs, Ari wants you to still be able to choose between 1x or 2x drivetrains. To compliment the massive tire clearance, the Shafer also sports a slacker head tube than the more "racy" gravel bikes on the market, tipping it back to 68.9°, which is closer to what you'd find on modern down-country bikes. This slacker front end sets you up nicely for a confident ride on the more technical gravel terrain. The Shafer finds a nice middle ground in the gravel world, delivering a bike capable of gravel racing or heading out on long multi-day adventures.
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • Light scratches on the rear derailleur & seatpost
  • Please Note: Power meters are typically aftermarket upgrades, and we cannot guarantee functionality, battery life, accuracy, or calibration. Due to this, power meters are no longer factored into the pricing of our CPO bikes. Charge cables and/or spare batteries not included. In some cases, activation fees may apply.
