Why We Love It
The Orbea Kemen is a super-capable commuter equipped with geometry and features that allow you to cruise with style on a variety of terrain. The Kemen is designed with a 100mm mountain bike fork to allow big tires even with large fenders. The Kemen comes with a handy rear rack with plenty of mounting options for panniers or top bags. All of this is made easier to cruise the streets with thanks to the smooth assist up to 20mph courtesy of the genius Shimano EP8 85Nm motor and 540Wh battery. If 540Wh of battery isn't up to snuff for you, Orbea offers a 252Wh range extender for a total of 792Wh. For incredible insight to your Shimano EP8 system, be sure to download the E-Tube App to turn your phone into an incredible immersive data center and remote for your Shimano system. If you find yourself staring at the Kemen and wondering why it looks so sleek, it's probably the front cable integration. While many e-bikes feature a cluttered front aesthetic of half a dozen cables twisting everywhere, Orbea has routed the majority through the handlebar and stem for an extremely clean look that we're big fans of. Of course, no e-bike would be complete without a sweet light system and the Kemen is no exception. You're covered with a plenty bright head light and taillight to illuminate the road ahead and keep you safe.
