With the introduction of Trek's Knock-Block technology and a "straight shot" downtube, this generation of the Fuel EX frame got noticeably stiffer in all the best ways. Another great change was the increase in tire clearance, allowing you to run wider tires for better traction whether 27.5" or 29"!
