Why We Love It
The Stigmata has the soul of a cyclocross bike. Up until 2020, Santa Cruz's lone drop-bar offering focused on fast laps in fall mud. So, if you're looking at a '15-'19 Stigmata, expect snappy handling and responsive stiffness. From 2020 onward, the next-gen Stigmata opened up its tire clearance and relaxed the geometry a bit to make it just as capable in a 200-mile gravel epic as a 60-minute 'cross race. In both cases, you get a high-quality carbon bike with that Santa Cruz style.
