A hardtail doesn’t automatically mean XC. The Niner Air 9 is decidedly trail focused, and while it won’t have you leading the pack at the World Cup, it certainly isn’t slow. A longer wheelbase increases stability, while a moderate head tube angle keeps handling in control. You’ll reach for this bike again and again.
