Why We Love It
The Shadowcat is Pivot's new mid travel, do it all mountain bike that climbs and descends outside the typical 140mm rear travel expectations. The Shadowcat takes over the Mach 5.5's position in Pivot's lineup, and although both roll with 140mm travel and 27.5"" wheels, the similarities stop there. Shadowcat is a whole new beast.

Pivot's new Shadowcat continues to utilize the infamous DW-Link suspension that provides its agility, speed and gracefulness. The DW-Link suspension platform doesn't just benefit you on the climb, but also creates unmatched traction so you can blaze downhill. Speaking of downhill, the Shadowcat is designed around a burly 160mm fork to help out when the trail turns rough. Like other bikes in the Pivot lineup, Shadowcat comes with smart and convenient features like spacious water bottle clearance, top tube gear mounts and SRAM's UDH (universal derailleur hanger) to make finding a replacement a piece of cake.
Features
  • 140mm rear travel that punches outside its class (both up and downhill)
  • 27.5"" wheels make for nimble handling and responsive torque
  • DW-Link suspension platform is efficient on the climb and supple on the descent
  • Spacious water bottle clearance
  • SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger)
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • Light scratches on the crank arms
  • Light scratches on the inside rear triangle
