Why We Love It
The Headlands is Marin's carbon gravel and adventure rig. Without gear on it its a smooth, comfortable, responsive gravel bike. It has plenty of clearance with the capability of up to 700 x 45c or 650b x 50c tires depending on the traction and playfulness you desire. However, where this bike truly shines is its adventure ready features. Mounting hardware galore is strewn about the frame to allow you to load up racks, bags, extra water, and fenders so you don't have to leave any gear behind and you stay a little cleaner on muddy trails. The 27.2mm seatpost is setup to take an internally routed dropper post and some builds even come stock with a TransX dropper. Whether you're signed up for Mid South Gravel or want a lightweight versatile option for multi-day bikepack adventures, the Marin Headlands will handle it.
