Why We Love It
Transition wanted to make a trail ebike capable of shedding the ebike weight and becoming a capable trail bike on demand. When the Fauza Ride60 system entered the scene, Transition knew it was time to make this vision a reality. The Transition Relay is a larger travel full suspension ebike capable of full 29" or 29"/27.5 wheel set up to handle twisty, technical, challenging terrain with ease. What makes this bike even more unique to Transition's Repeater model is the Fauza Ride60 motor and battery. The motor boasts 60nm of torque that melts away the climbs and a 430wh battery keeps delivering that torque all day long. Now, the real magic behind this design is the tool-less removability of the battery. When removed, the weight of the bike is closely comparable to most standard (non-electric bikes) due to the minimal motor weight and its low/centered position. If you sometimes want an ebike, but sometimes you don't, the Transition is the perfect solution without having to buy 2 bikes.
