Why We Love It
We got our hands on one of the few limited edition SRAM 1987 Transmission drivetrain and carefully picked out a bike we felt perfectly emulated its unique heritage. 1987 represents the founding year of SRAM components. Yeti was founded just 2 years earlier, in 1985. The 1980’s marked a huge leap in the popularization of mountain biking - both brands being an innovative and driving force in the evolution of the sport. This build blends classic retro aesthetic with state-of-the-art mountain bike technology.
The silver components stand out against the dark frame and are complimented by Fox Factory Kashima suspension's gold. The build is topped off with Industry Nine carbon wheels with top shelf Hydra Hubs.
There's only 1 of these Yeti SB160's available at TPC and once it's gone, it's gone.
