Why We Love It
Steel certainly isn't the most commonly thought of material when it comes to cross country racing frames, but Ritchey has proven for decades that the Ultra can hold its own on the XC course when asked to. However, with some slight build tweaks, you can quickly transform the Ultra into a capable, trail-shredding rowdy rider. The steel frame is bombproof and versatile - capable of accepting 29", 27.5" or 27.5"+ wheels. Whichever wheelsize you choose, the 120mm fork the bike is designed for will pair perfectly.
