Why We Love It
Boltcutter Cycles is a brand out of New Mexico with a heavy emphasize on advocacy and building up the cycling community around them, a brand that's easy to quickly fall in love with. The High Country is a later evolution of Boltcutter's drop bar dirt rocket stable. While the Peacemaker made for an exceptionally versatile drop bar bike, the High Country puts more capability in the gravel bucket with a longer geometry to provide a mega-smooth and stable ride as well as increased standover clearance. There are still plenty of mounting options to load up all the gear you need if you want to use your High Country for long journeys in the saddle. Still boasting a massive 700 x 50mm tire clearance, 27.2mm dropper post capability and a coveted threaded bottom bracket (because who likes creaks).
