Why We Love It
With 115mm of rear wheel travel, a slack head tube angle, and a desire to cruise the downhills, the Banshee Phantom is a purebred downcountry bike. If you're unfamiliar, downcountry is a newer category that combines short travel, climbing ability of an XC bike and the descending capability of a trail bike. To improve its downhill prowess, the Phantom has room for a coil shock and up to 140mm of fork travel. In normal Banshee fashion, it rolls on a dependable, aluminum frame equipped with their refined KS2 linkage.

All-in-all, choose the Phantom if you're looking to climb all day, descend tough lines, and play on the trail.
