Hookless Tubeless, or Tubeless Straight Side (standard abbreviation TSS) describes the design of the rims. Tubeless-capable rims can be driven without an inner tube, but a tube set up is also possible. Hookless or Straight Side describes the shape of the rim flange, which in this case is constructed straight, without the classic hook. This design creates benefits regarding increased impact stability of carbon rim flanges and is feasible up to 5 bars tire pressure.
