Unicorn In The Rockies

Why We Love It
You might call it a "Unicorn"... maybe you call it a "Jack of All Trades".... Or maybe "Swiss Army Knife"? Whatever you call it, the Instinct is the go-to Rocky for riders that love the big descents, but don't take a shuttle or chair lift to get to the top. 140mm of rear travel and 150mm in the front make this bike mega-capable of eating up big downhills, but thanks to some smart geometry, it still climbs well! What makes this bike truly stand out is the huge adjustability of "Ride-9". This is a system of 2 interlocking chips that allow you to tweak the geometry of the bike in 9 different positions based on trail conditions or your ride style!
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • New bottom bracket
  • Light scratches on the crank arms & rear derailleur
  • Light scratches on the rims, fork lowers, down tube, seat tube, non-drive side seatstay, & drive side chainstay
  • Moderate scratches on the drive side seatstay
