Hardtail Downhill Master

Why We Love It
Similar to the Chromag Rootdown, the Chromag Stylus is a steel hardtail designed to defy traditional hardtail parameters. Designed with a very slack head tube angle optimal for a 160mm travel fork, this bike is ready to make ease of the most technical downhills. While the Rootdown rides a little faster with its 29" wheels, the Stylus is for 27.5" or 26" (up to 3.0" wide) to bring a little more fun to the party. The smaller wheels, especially when paired with wider tires, compliment the playful nature of this hardtail, providing unrivaled traction. To make this downhill hardtail even more capable, Chromag designed the Stylus with a very short seat tube. This creates a lower standover height for added confidence, but also allows the rider to spec the bike with a large travel dropper post to get the seat completely out of the way for the really steep sections.
