A Devoted 'Cross Bike That Digs Gravel

Why We Love It
Valentine's Day Staff Picks:
"To be fair, I already own the Stigmata in this sweet lavender paint job and I'm loving it. However, I'm lusting over this Force AXS 2x build and wheel choice."
-Adam V, eCommerce Merchandiser

The Stigmata has the soul of a cyclocross bike. Up until 2020, Santa Cruz's lone drop-bar offering focused on fast laps in fall mud. So, if you're looking at a '15-'19 Stigmata, expect snappy handling and responsive stiffness. From 2020 onward, the next-gen Stigmata opened up its tire clearance and relaxed the geometry a bit to make it just as capable in a 200-mile gravel epic as a 60-minute 'cross race. In both cases, you get a high-quality carbon bike with that Santa Cruz style.
Upgrades
  • Quarq AXS Power Meter
  • Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 Carbon wheelset
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • New handlebar tape
  • Light scuffs on the Santa Cruz head badge
  • Light scuff on the rear derailleur & crank arms
  • Please Note: Power meters are typically aftermarket upgrades, and we cannot guarantee functionality, battery life, accuracy, or calibration. Charging cable and/or spare batteries not included
