Go Far

Why We Love It
It's truly amazing to see how quickly e-bike technology and design has advanced in such a short time. The Orbea Urrun (meaning "far" in the Basque language where Orbea calls home) is a stunning example of this continued innovation. The Urrun utilizes the same Shimano EP8-RS motor used in their revolutionary Ride E-MTB, which delivers one of the smoothest engagements of any pedal assist motors on the market. The Shimano EP8-RS motor is also impressively lightweight and slim, which at first glance, gives the Urrun the appearance of a traditional bike.

Phenomenal pedal-assist technology aside, the Urrun is designed for adventure. It's build on a lightweight hardtail mountain bike platform which allows generous tire clearance (29" x 2.6"), 120mm of e-bike specific front suspension and a geometry that feels stable and confident on the trails.
  • Shimano EP8-RS pedal assist motor
  • Assist up to 20mph
  • Battery potential of up to 8hrs of ride time
  • High polish alloy frame is strong and light
  • 120mm of e-bike specific front suspension
  • Fast rolling 29er wheels
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • Light scuffs on the drive-side top tube & bottom bracket area
  • Light scratches on the crank arms
