Why We Love It
Ritchey has always made a solid XC wheelset, so developing a trail wheel in the all-mountain category came easy. All of the proprietary Ritchey wheel designs are present, like OCR rims, WCS Trail hubs and DT Swiss spokes. Smart design in both the rim and hub serves up a top-performing and complete wheelset that is reliable and easy to service. The contemporary width and height of the rim help the Trail 30 transcend from light trail status to beyond, by selecting larger and higher volume tires. The durable alloy rim material will have no problem running low pressures and occasionally kissing the rims on rough and pointy terrain. Tires mount and seal up with ease to the Trail 30 rim due to the smart channel design. The long-proven OCR profile improves the spoke bracing angle and reduces wheel dish for a stronger build quality. Light and tough usually don’t come in the same package, but with the Trail 30 you can get both at a great price!
